What equipment is provided by Windswept Adventures?
All fishing gear, tackle, and bait are provided. Caught fish are filleted and put in a baggie
with ice. Captain Bob also provides bottled water for drinking. You should bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, camera and any food you wish to eat during your Charter.

Is Captain Bob Licensed?
Yes, Captain Bob is licensed through the United States Coast Guard and is on the Board
of Directors for the Lee County Professional Guides Association.

Where will our adventure begin?
The meeting place will depend on the type of fish you wish to catch. Typically,
arrangements are made to meet at a local boat ramp.

Will we need to get a fishing license?
A fishing license is not required. Tarpon fishing is catch and release, unless you
purchase a $50.00 Tarpon tag. (We can assist with this.)

What are the local fishing rules?

The LCPGA Web site contains local fishing regulations.

What type of boat is used?
The boat is a 20' SeaChaser Flats boat that is 8-feet wide.

What type of fishing equipment is used?
When fishing in the flats, Fin-Nor Mega Lite 3000 reels and IM6 Graphite Lite rods are
used. For Tarpon fishing, Shimano B3500 Bait Runner reels and custom-made rods are utilized.

What payment methods are accepted?
Cash or check payable to Windswept Adventures.

What happens in the event of bad weather?

The fees will be pro-rated or the trip will be canceled if we have enough advanced
warning.

What items should we bring with us for our trip?
A hat, sunscreen, a camera, beverages, (if not drinking water), and food should be
brought, if needed. No glass bottles, please. Cans or plastic only. A very small bag
may also be brought to store in dry storage.
